- Community Challenge Weekend

As a professional organization, we as members
of ALA take our role as a corporate citizen seriously. As part of this and
to provide a focus for chapter community service, the International
organization of ALA sponsors a Community Challenge Weekend program. The
Association designates the month of October each year as a time for all
members and chapters to address challenges their communities face. Everyone
is encouraged to pick a project that will make a difference.

ALA works closely with the business community and recognizes the
important role business partners play in the overall success of law firms.
In an attempt to strengthen the relationships between law firms and vendors,
the Chapter annually sponsors a social gathering of law firm administrators
and vendor representatives.
